Beatrice Peltre is a true nature lover and reflects her passion for colour, light and natural beauty in photographs that seem to glow from within.
She grew up in France and soaked up the atmosphere of the idyllic countryside that inspires her photography. She describes her style is organic, natural, colorful, and lyrical.
The unique quality she brings to her images has created a constant demand for her work, which has appeared in international publications including The New York Times, Washington Post, Boston Globe, Wall Street Journal, and magazines Bon Appétit and Saveur. She is also a regular on gourmet food shows in France and the U.S.A. where she appeared on the Martha Stewart Show. Everything started with her blog. Food was always the connector. “I loved to cook, and the rest followed, quickly,” she says. My blog gave me the creative platform where I could write, cook, style, and photograph food.” Soon she developed her unique style: close to nature and very French. Her goal is to highlight the natural beauty inherent in food.
Even before becoming a stylist and photographer Beatrice was drawn to the visual arts. She loves to decorate her house, set a beautiful table and arrange food to create poetry on the plate. Her first cookery book La Tartine Gourmande: Recipes for an Inspired Life was a resounding success.
